| 1. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) will organize the third International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH-2025) in New Delhi on November 11 and 12. | 2. The United Arab Emirates and the world tourist industry have made history by naming Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais as the first woman to lead UN tourist. During the 123rd UN Tourism Executive Council meeting in Segovia, Spain, a majority vote affirmed her position. Once the UN General Assembly formally approves her, she will take office in January 2026 for a four-year term. The Federation of All India Farmer Associations (FAIFA) has spoken out against the World Health Organization’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO-FCTC) decision to keep tobacco farmers and their representatives out of the 11th Conference of the Parties (COP11), which will be held in Geneva from November 17 to 22, 2025. FAIFA said that the farmers’ bid to participate was turned down because their interests did not match the FCTC’s goals.
