| 1. The Trump administration took away the sanctions exemptions for Chabahar Port. This makes it harder for India to go to Afghanistan and Central Asia and hurts its strategic position in the area. | 3. India has added seven natural sites to UNESCO’s Tentative List of World Heritage Sites (WHS). This brings the overall number of WHS sites to 69, including 49 cultural sites, 17 natural sites, and 3 mixed sites.
