The “Indian Sugar & Bio-Energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA)” says that India’s sugar production for the marketing year 2025–26 (October–September) will climb “18.58% to 30.95 million tonnes,” up from 26.1 million tonnes the year before. | 7. India and Vietnam have agreed to strengthen their defence cooperation by signing new agreements that cover submarine rescue, working together in the defence industry, and new security areas. The decisions were made after the 15th India–Vietnam Defence Policy Dialogue (DPD) in Hanoi on Monday.
